The successful candidate will be working on theBusiness2Community.com website – a leading publisher of news and analytical content covering general and business software, technology, crypto, stock and business news.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding and interest in all aspects of technology. You must have a passion, for example, for consumer gadgets as well as the latest developments in the implementation of technology-based business solutions, be it in hardware or software. 

The ability to translate and explain technical jargon and complicated processes in clear plain English without patronising your audience or obscuring meanings is essential.

Responsibilities:

• News reporting
• Long-form feature writing
• Conduct product reviews and analysis
• Regular sectoral overviews and industry trends
• Sourcing comment, conducting interviews, attending and reporting from industry events.
• Company and leadership profiles
• Report to Editor

Requirements:

• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Previous experience reporting (ideally including shorthand)
  
• Interviewing techniques and skills
• Audio/visual skills (desirable but not essential)
• Familiarity with Word Press 
• Familiarity and confidence with search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques and practices (training provided)
• Knowledge of media law and public affairs
• Fast learner and excellent communicator
