Lucky Block, a brand backed by Finixio and CryptoPR, is looking for a talented Unity Developer to join our newly created Development team and to participate in different Blockchain projects made up of multicultural teams distributed throughout the world. As the Unity Developer, you will contribute to the technical development of large scale complex Metaverse environments. The ideal candidate is a forward thinking professional - always striving to find innovative solutions to complex problems while collaborating with cross functional teams. What you will be getting up to on a daily basis (but not limited to);

• Contribute to the technical development of large scale complex Metaverse projects.
• Communicating well, collaborating effectively, and developing an efficient pipeline to rapidly create prototypes for testing.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Versatility to work on all aspects of the games (gameplay, features, menus, platform specifics, etc.).
• Work with the design team and advise on the technical implications of the Metaverse design.
• Work with the 3d Modelling Team and advise on Model requirements.
• Translate design specification into engineering requirements.
• Knowing when to persevere and when to pivot to new ideas, using agile gameplay iterations when required.

What you’ll need to have:

• At least 3-5 years of professional experience as a Unity Game Developer (any experience with hyper-casual is a huge plus)
• A creative and hacker mindset, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Play To Earn and Metaverse experience.
• A track record of working on mobile games, having released at least 2 games
• Excellent understanding of Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc).
• Experience working with open-source projects.
• Experience working with large codebases.
• Experience in level design, A.I. logic and user feedback loops
• Experience with rapid product upgrades e.g. sprite switching
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and JavaScript, etc.
• Knowledge of Web3 languages such as Solidity and Rust is desirable
• Familiarity with the working of peer-to-peer networks.
• Familiarity with basic cryptography.
• Able to lead and influence across a remote work environment.
• Great communication and collaboration skills working with other engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Fluent in the English language.
